If you're even a tiny bit like me, you're probably at least a bit frazzled right at the moment. I know you've been doing this for a few years now, and I don't know whether you need to hear this or not, but:

You got this.

People are going to have an amazing time, no matter what. I am going to have an amazing time, no matter what, for whatever that's worth. Any last details you might be worrying about, anything you're afraid you might have forgotten, anything at all that's weighing on you…

It's going to be fine. Nobody will notice, nobody will care. We'll all be too busy enjoying ourselves. Enjoying good company. Enjoying this event that you so graciously put on. Appreciating you for putting up with all of us trampling all over your yard and leaving random stuff behind when we leave. Being conflicted over what it would mean for this thing if my hopes ever do come to pass…

Well. That last one is probably just me. Maybe.

So, if you're stressed out at all… relax. Take a deep breath. It's going to be great, no matter what.
